FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is the price GST-inclusive?
Yes. The number on the card is what you pay. GST at 18% is already baked in; your tax invoice shows the split at billing time.
How does billing work?
Anniversary-based — your plan renews on the date you subscribed, not on calendar month-end. That avoids month-end stampedes and matches your cash-flow rhythm. Monthly and annual are both available; annual is priced at 10 months (two free).
Can I upgrade or downgrade mid-cycle?
Upgrades take effect immediately with a prorated charge to the new plan. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle — you keep the higher plan's features until then. No refunds on the current cycle.
What happens when I hit the WhatsApp or Sahayak quota?
On Starter, the quota is a hard cap — further sends are blocked until the next cycle or an upgrade. On Pro, the quota soft-caps with post-paid overage billed at the rate shown in the plan card. You can always see remaining quota on the admin dashboard.
Do you support tenant-owned Razorpay?
Yes — on Pro and above. You plug in your school's own Razorpay keys under Admin → Settings → Payment, and every parent payment lands in your bank account directly. Udyamik never touches the money.
Is there a free trial?
14 days on Starter and Pro. No credit card required. Your data stays if you upgrade to a paid plan; if you don't, your tenant goes into a 30-day read-only state before archival.
How is Sahayak billed?
As an add-on to EduSuite, not a standalone subscription. A school on EduSuite Pro can add Sahayak Starter (₹999/mo) or Sahayak Pro (₹2,499/mo). Quotas are independent of EduSuite's.
What about lending and other apps on the roadmap?
Udyamik is designed as a multi-App platform. Sahayak is the first sibling App; Lending ships with Sprint 7+. When those launch, existing tenants subscribe per-App without migrating data — it's the same login and the same feed.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancellation stops renewal; you keep service until the end of the current billing cycle. Data export is always available. Full terms: see /legal/refund.
