Udyamik is software for the 1.5 million Indian schools that run on spreadsheets, WhatsApp groups, paper receipts and sheer grit. We give them the same quality of product tooling that a Bengaluru startup takes for granted — priced for a tier-3 town budget, shipped in Hindi-first eventually, and built so a parent at three schools has exactly one login.
Mission
Indian SMB schools were last reached by software in the 1990s — stitched-together desktop tools that assumed a fat Windows machine in the principal's office. Today those same schools are paying parents via UPI, messaging on WhatsApp and watching YouTube explainers made by their own teachers. Their operating system still hasn't caught up.
Udyamik is the platform for that mismatch. Multi-app by design — EduSuite first, Sahayak AI second, Lending third, clinics and gyms after — so one person logs in once and their kid's school, their old-age parent's clinic, and the founder's lending co all funnel into a single feed. One identity. One document vault. One bill.

Previously shipped identity, billing and compliance systems at fintech. Started Udyamik after watching his old school still running admissions on paper forms in 2024.
How we build
WhatsApp as a first-class channel. Razorpay-native collection. 10-digit mobile as the default identity. APAAR-ready student records. DPDP Act, not GDPR, drives the privacy posture.
OTP + Argon2id device-bound PIN. Parents in pre-school without mobile use email OTP. A school admin who forgot their password never calls us — because there are no passwords to forget.
On Pro+, your Razorpay keys, your Meta WhatsApp number, your brand on receipts. The money lands in your bank; the messages go out from your phone number. We're the plumbing, not the middleman.
EduSuite is the first App, not the product. Sahayak AI is a sibling App. Lending is next. A parent at your school can be a borrower at a NBFC that also runs on Udyamik — one identity, one feed, zero duplicate logins.
Every sensitive mutation — fee waivers, role changes, report publishes — writes a diff row before the screen refreshes. On an audit the school principal opens the audit log; they don't call us for a dump.
Once a fee invoice leaves DRAFT, it never changes. Corrections issue adjustments. Retroactive discount changes don't alter past bills. The ledger is the ledger.
